Question: will a seat cover fit these chairs? Seat cover fits most chairs measuring 18″ in width (side to side at the widest point) and 15″ front to back.

Question: What is the material that the chair seats are made of and is it washable if something is spilled?
Answer: Have had this set for about a year. Seat cushions are kind of suede-like, maybe microfiber. So far any spills I have had have cleaned off with a damp cloth. I have to say for the money, we absolutely love this set up. We regularly sit 8 at this table for dinner and you can see, hear and talk easily with everyone. The wood itself will scratch fairly easily though, so just be careful about what you set on it. So far, ours has done well.

Answer: Yes but it is incredibly easy to do so.
