Answer: Dear customer, the rooftop tent is made of durable ABS hard shell, which is sturdy. But for your safe driving, we do not recommend you put anything on the tent. Hope that helps you.

Question: What mount for a 17 Jeep Wrangler ?
Answer: Dear customer, does your car have roof bar? The roof tent is fixed to the vehicle through the roof cross bar.

Question: Can the roof and rails of my Jeep Cherokee handle the load? Are there cross rails on the market that can handle the load?
Answer: Dear customer. Your Jeep can hadle the weight of this tent, even mini car can handle it.
It is recommended that you use stainless steel and aluminum alloy cross rails, and the solid is the best.

Recommended maximum length (front and back) 60 ”
The recommended distance between the front and rear cross rails cross bars is 32 “- 48”
The minimum distance between the roof and the roof rail is 3.5 ”
During transportation, the cross bar needs to support at least 150 pounds
If necessary, you can choose to remove the ladder from the tent during travel to reduce the weight of the roof rack
