Our covers are manufactured out of 600D poly cotton rip stop material that has heat sealed seams which ensure you’re not going to see any leaks through seams regardless of the size of rain you’re dealing with. If you see the weather changing or something stronger than a breeze turns up, you can deploy the three pivoting aluminum poles and adjust to your desired height with a quick lock system in seconds. When its time to lock down base camp for serious weather, deploy the poles, secure the stakes with the supplied para-cord and put up the optional enclosure shelter and your ready to take on some the most severe storms. When its time to stow your Nomadic 270 away it takes minutes to break down and secures nicely in 1000g PVC cover.

Answer: Amazing quality, very heavy duty, def worth the money. I’ll def will be buying a roof top tent from them in the future

Question: Will this work on a prinus roof rack?
Answer: Yes but may require a spacer.

Question: What is the wind rating to keep it free standing and not use the poles?
Answer: I took it down in 30mph winds an it stood strong with no issue. This thing is a beast it’s made very well

Question: Can this awning be partially deployed? example, if I dont want the area behind the vehicle covered due to an obstruction / space
Answer: No. You unfold the awning and it being fully deployed it what holds it in place since you attach it with tension to roof rack. If you don’t fully deploy it, it will just fold back in on itself.

Question: What is the weight of this with the bat wing?
Answer: i think the total wieght is 75lbs. I installed mine by myself.
