Customer questions & answers

Question: Do you offer a fly that fits this tent?
Answer: No rain fly is required for this tent. I suggest setting it up and soaking it with a garden hose. When they cotton fiber gets wet it shrinks and is waterproof. Rained on me for two days straight hunting and the inside of my tent was totally dry.

Question: what size stove should i use ?
Answer: It depends on the size of your tent. The bigger the tent the more it takes to heat up. I have a large stove for my 16×16 and it’s prefect

Question: How much wind can it handle?
Answer: I have read that it can handle category 5 winds. (50mph) I have personally only experienced 40+ mph gusts and the 13 guy lines kept the tent stable. The walls move back and forth of course with the wind but I never once thought that the tent was going to lift off!

Question: Does the center pole connect to the floor sheet, or can you put a carpet underneath? Also how much does the 10′ tent weigh?
Answer: On my tent the center pole has a rubber on each end so i put it in contact with the floor. I couldn’t tell you how much the 10′ tent weights. I have the 16.5′ and poles, floor & tent weight 77 lbs all together.

Question: How would this hold up in snow? Was thinking of buying one for deer and elk season here in Oregon!
Answer: It didn’t snow when I used it in October but it rained really hard and a really bad wind and I was really impressed! Worked great and stayed dry inside! Highly recommended!
