Question:What size of storage bins/baskets will fit the cubbies?
Answer:Here are the dimensions of the rows of cubbies. All three rows are 11 1/2″ deep. The 1st row is 13 7/8″ tall and 12 1/8″ wide. the 2nd row is 13 3/4″ tall and 12 1/8″ wide. the 3rd row is 13 3/4″ tall and 25″ wide
Question:what is the weight each shelf will hold?
Answer:The top of the Sauder Barrister Lane Bookcase can support up to 40 lbs. Each side of the two center shelves can support 20 lbs total. The two larger lower openings can support up to 25 lbs each.
Question:Are the cubbies interchangeable? Can I put the two big squares on the top instead of the bottom?
Answer:No, these aren’t interchangeable. If that’s not a deal breaker i use this in my living room and it looks great and is very well made
Question:Can you not put the tab holders on?
Answer:If you don’t put the tab holders on, there will be 2 holes visible from the front for each holder. I resolved this by putting the tab holders on, but never put any labels in them. It looks very nice that way!
Question:can you paint the book case
Answer:Sauder does not reccomend that you paint any of their models. It would void the warrenty.
