Question:How is it on the upper back and lower neck? If someone is 6′ tall, how high do the upper back rollers come?
Answer:I’m 6’1″ and it comes up high enough to massage your neck. There are range adjustments you can make on the hand controller to dial it in pretty precisely.
Question:how far away from the wall must the chair be located to go from straight up to full recline successfully?
Answer:Thank you for your inquiry. Our WholeBody 7.1 Massage Chair needs a 9-inch wall clearance.
Question:Does leg rest flip over
Answer:Yes. It has a lock on the side to keep it from floating when it is in either position.
Question:Does the massage function while reclined?
Answer:Thank you for your inquiry. All of the massage functions work while the WholeBody7.1 Massage Chair is in the reclined position.
Question:Is the intensity adjustable. And can you pin-point where you want extra work done? Does it have a shiatsu mode?
Answer:The intensity has three levels of adjustment. To pin-point an area you can run it in manual mode (which puts it in one position) or in this mode they call BodyMap Pro which works one area. I don’t really know what shiatsu is so I can’t answer that one. I can tell you that I’ve used mine everyday for probably 2 years and can’t imagine being without it.
