Question:What amp/dac is recommended for the audeze lcd-2 ?
Answer:The LCD2 Closed Back is fairly easy to drive, even with some cell phones! However, it loves (and sounds better with) more power. Any decent external headphone amp will work OK. If you have a good quality amp or amp/DAC, you will definitely notice a difference in the sound quality. With just a little amplification, they’ll sound good, but with more power and better quality they will really “get up and dance.”

Question:How neutral are these? The description says they are neutral but an Audeze rep told me that they’re warm?
Answer:Depends on how you use it. Definitely use a dac.

Question:Would a non-audiophile be able to distinguish the difference between these and a pair of bose qc35’s when connected to a hifi dac, like an lgv40’s?
Answer:Yes.
I have owned these and also the QC 35s (Although not at the same time), and I can say that according to my memory , their sound signatures are different.
