Answer:There is no alert. There is a light that will illuminate and go out when the burners are on and off. This will allow you to know when the oven is to temperature. However, this oven has a feature that’s does not require preheat which is very nice.

Question:How much space is between the oven and the bottom of the oven? How tall are the legs?
