Question:It seems like it would be too short to be an effective seat for most people. I wish it were 4-6″ higher. Does the 16-1/2″ height include the legs?
Answer:Yes 16 1/2 includes the legs. It can seat 3 avg size adults on one side. I like it a lot. Kicking my legs over it after a long day feels comfortable. And gotta love the storage 🙂
Question:how much weight does it hold
Answer:Can’t answer this question completely, but I can tell you that I weigh 195 lbs and there is no flex on the lid when I sit on it.
