With a 0.6-quart oil capacity (included 10W-30) and a low oil shut-off sensor, this inverter operates at 64 dBA from 23 feet, which is a bit louder than normal speech. Confidently connect your sensitive electronics since this inverter produces Clean Power (less than 3% THD). Our Quick Touch Panel offers fast access to all your controls. The Intelligauge monitors voltage, frequency and operating hours with ease, while Economy Mode monitors power consumption in real time to reduce electrical load. Question:What type of oil can i use? Can it be synthetic
Answer:During the break in period, use a conventional motor oil. After the break in period, you can use a 5W-30 synthetic oil all year round. Be sure to stick to the prescribed oil change interval, even if using synthetic oil.
Question:neutral & ground bonded at the generator
Answer:The 100520 can be connected to your panel with a 240 volt cord. You must install a breaker interlock or a transfer switch and float the neutral on the generator.
Question:On the 240 volt plug: Will this unit handle different amperage loads on 240 volt output; if safely wired to house curcuit breakers for a house loads?
Answer:Yes. – – – Up to 21Amps on each side of the 120-N-120 split. Load above 21A on one/either side for more than a few seconds and output will be shut down by an internal overload sensor.
