Question:How much floor space does it take when in use? Is it easy to fold up?
Answer:about 9 feet x 2 feet. You need a 1′-2′ of extra width for your arms to use it. Folds up in seconds with no tools. Stores in about 2 feet x 3 feet of floor space.
Question:How easy was set-up? Would you recommend professional installation?
Answer:Very easy to set up, only 8 screws and screw driver comes with it. Save your money and do it yourself, only takes 15 to 20 minutes including unpacking it.
Question:How long does is take to fold up? According to the product photos above they had time to install a second window on the far wall?…
Answer:30 seconds, maybe. It’s hard to conceptualize until you actually do it, but it is super simple: pull up the lock, pull the middle up by a foot strap, and it separates.
Question:Where is this machine made?
Answer:In Vermont. It’s American made and assembled by hand.
Question:How is this for older exercisers? I’m 75 and do the treadmill most days at a moderate pace, 30 mins.
Answer:I’m 76 and use a Concept 2 at my local trainers gym. It can be used at a moderate pace as my 75 year old wife does, or for an intense workout try 15 as hard as you can pulls, followed by a 45 second slow row recovery. 8 repetitions
