Question:Do I need to prepare the pipe for this washing machine?or I can manually put the water inside?
Answer:I put the washer in my standard bathtub, and use my shower head (it’s the type with a hose) to fill the machine with water. Also having the machine in the tub, makes draining it easy and yes the machine is light enough to easily take it in and out of the tub, as needed
Question:how much electric does this take to use will it run my bill up?
Answer:Washer consumes 300W while in operation. The spinner adds 50% more. That’s not nothing, but it’s tiny compared to full-size washing machines. Of course, doing 3X as many loads, each of which uses 1/3 as much power…
A reasonable comparison is that this washer needs about as much power as a refrigerator when its compressor is running, or a stand mixer when it’s beating. That’s more than normal lighting or electronic devices, but far less than power tools or resistance heaters, even microwave ovens, draw.
Question:is this machine reliable?
Answer:I’ve had this machine for almost a year. You can’t treat it like a regular machine. You have to be more gentle with it. Don’t overload the spinner. I wring excess water out of the clothes first. I actually washed my winter coats in this washer and they spun out beutifully. Don’t walk off and leave it spunning. Washing no problem. I love my machine. Beats bending over the bathtub and doing the laundry.
Question:how long do this machine last?
Answer:My machine is still running strong after a month of continuous use. Just remember that this is a machine constructed of plastic with a small motor mechanism. If you decide to purchase one of these machines it would be wise to do a little research and try not to subject the washer to overuse. Hope this helps.
