Lifetime’s 7-foot wide Outdoor Storage Sheds have several innovative features, including a skylight that runs the entire length of the roof to maximize natural lighting. They also include single-hinged double doors that open nearly 180 degrees and lock closed, a slip-resistant polyethylene floor, and low-maintenance, steel-reinforced construction.

Question:Has anything been done to reinforcing the roofs plastic clips? Also can the doors be locked?
Answer:We have had very few problems with the roof on this model. If you do have any issues our customer service will be happy to take care of it for you.
And yes, the doors lock.

Question:How wide is the door opening?
Answer:Both doors swing fully open to 54″. I stored several foldable items in shed: 4 large lounge chairs, 3 banana chairs, and 6′ table without opening both doors. The left door has two locking mechanisms inside to secure in place. Easy to release locks to swing both doors open for removal of furniture. I open only one door when removing 1 or 2 items. Doors seal properly to prevent leaves or rain from entering.

Question:How far out do the doors swing from the face of the shed?
Answer:The doors will swing open about 3/4 of the way open. The doors rotate around a hinge tube that goes through the doors, down into the floor, and up into the table.

Question:When installed my shed will be in a corner with the back and one side against block walls. How do I assemble it in that situation?
Answer:Can’t you just assemble it and when it’s together just screw it down into position??? Actually we put ours together against a fence. Another option is to take down the block wall, assemble the shed then replace the block wall. all done

Question:Can you tell me what the inside dimensions are?
Answer:Total floor area: Front to back 50-1/2″ wide. Side to Side 78″ long. Side walls are 71-1/2″ High. Center is 88″ to Apex. Hope this helps. I love mine!

Question:Can someone tell me the exterior height of the shed at its peak?
Answer:The one I assembled measures 89-5/8″ not including any base you may construct to set it on. Even with the base I made, this shed clears my fascia so the shed could be placed against the exterior house wall.
