Question: Can this be used as a “pergola” over pool equipment in the corner of a back yard?
Answer: You can certainly put this in your backyard (that is where mine is) however it is a made of plastic and, in my opinion, it will not stand up to any undue stress like children climbing on it or hanging from it. I chose to install it using 4 X 4s driven into the ground about 30 inches and then put a short piece of 4 X 4 inside the top of the legs so the screws that attach the structure on top has something subsantial to attach to. Mine sits across a path in my backyard – very similar to the photo.

Question: Can you hang a swing from this?
Answer: No. The overhead structure is not sting enough for a swing.

Question: What is the trim kit (shown) that is stated is extra? Any what are the “beams” made of; are they hollow or solid? Thank you.
Answer: Hello, the trim kit at the bottom of the posts is an optional accessory. The beams along the top are hollow so no additional material is required.

Question: Can I grow a wisteria on this? Can it take the weight?
Answer: Hello! Thank you for reaching out to us. Wisteria would be too heavy for this arbor. We wouldn’t recommend wisteria for any of our products.

Question: Could you hang a hammock from this?
Answer: No I wouldn’t reccomend hanging a hammock. I do not think it was designed for holding the weight of a person. It is very sturdy, but meant for hanging flower baskets or growing vines or Rose’s up over the arbor.
