Question: Does this bed have to have the slats to hold it together ? I have a thing my mattress sits on because the mattress can raise the feet or the head
Answer: Hello, Yes this bed frame includes an optional slatted platform. It can also be assembled to not use to the slats in case you want to use an adjustable base, but we cannot guarantee that every base will fit inside without requiring modification or lower feet etc. Hope that helps!
